Blocks & Bypassing

How does the VLESS protocol differ from VMess when bypassing DPI blocks?

VLESS DOES NOT INCLUDE ITS OWN ENCRYPTION AND RELIES ENTIRELY ON EXTERNAL TLS.
The VMess protocol adds its own cryptographic wrapper, which creates distinct network signatures for Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) systems. VLESS is a lightweight transmission protocol without redundant headers, making it easier to disguise as standard web traffic.

Eliminating Double Encryption and Signatures

In the VMess protocol, every network packet is forcibly encrypted by internal algorithms and then placed inside a standard transport layer. DPI equipment detects these structures through entropy and header patterns. VLESS transmits a clean data stream directly through an external secure TLS layer, making it indistinguishable from visiting a regular website.
