Delays in media stream transmission
Text messages weigh mere bytes and slip through even unstable connections. Voice notes and video messages are encrypted and transmitted in large chunks: if the server latency exceeds normal limits or packet loss occurs, the messenger server rejects the upload and displays an infinite sending icon.
How to fix media file delivery
- switch to a server in a country closest to you (e.g., Finland, Turkey, or Kazakhstan)
- enable split tunneling to route Telegram traffic directly, bypassing protection
- switch the app protocol from heavy OpenVPN to fast WireGuard in settings
- temporarily toggle airplane mode on and off to reset a stalled mobile session
